Privacy Policy
Huddle is a small product built for households. We collect what the app needs to work and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise in the app, and we do not track you around the internet.
What we collect
- Your account: the email address you register with, your household name, and the names of the people you add.
- What you log: exercises, sets, weights, reps, durations, rest times, notes, routines and personal records.
- Operational records: timestamps, error diagnostics and a per-install correlation id, so we can work out what went wrong when something breaks.
- If you subscribe: a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
- If you write to us: whatever you put in the message.
We do not ask for your date of birth, your weight, or any health information beyond the numbers you choose to log as workouts.
Why we collect it
To run the app: to show you your own workouts and keep each person's separate, to sign you in, to take payment if you choose Pro, to email you a verification code or tell you a payment failed, and to fix problems. That is the whole list.
Who else touches it
- Microsoft Azure — hosting and database, in the United States.
- Stripe — payments, if you subscribe. Stripe handles your card directly under its own privacy policy.
- Azure Communication Services — the emails we send you.
Each of these processes data on our instructions to run the service. Nobody else gets your data, and we will not sell or rent it. If we are ever legally compelled to hand something over, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Children
This matters to us, because Huddle was built for a parent and his sons.
Children do not have accounts here. A household has exactly one login, held by an adult. Everyone else — including children — is a profile inside that account, with no login, no email address and no way to sign in. Only the adult account holder enters and controls that information, and we do not knowingly collect anything directly from a child.
If you are a parent and want a profile and its workouts removed, delete the person in the app, or write to us and we will do it.
Your rights, and how to use them
Most of these are self-serve, because waiting on support to get your own data is not our idea of a right:
- Get a copy. Export everything to CSV from inside the app, on either plan, whenever you like. Nothing about export is behind the paywall.
- Delete it. Deleting your account from the app permanently removes your household, its people and every workout under it.
- Correct it. Edit anything you have logged, at any time.
If you cannot sign in, or you want something these controls do not cover — access, portability, correction, deletion, or an objection to how we handle your data — email support@huddle.fitness. We will respond within 30 days (or 45 days for requests under the CCPA), free of charge. We will never charge you, or require a subscription, to exercise a right you have under the law.
How long we keep things
Your workouts stay until you delete them or your account. Your plan never deletes anything — on Free, history older than 90 days is hidden from view, not removed, and it all comes back if you subscribe again. Deleting your account removes your data from our live systems immediately; encrypted backups age out within 35 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Storage on your device
Huddle stores things in your browser so it keeps working with no signal: your sign-in token, a copy of your recent data, and any changes waiting to sync. That is what makes the app usable in a basement. It is not advertising or analytics tracking, and it stays on your device. Clearing your browser data or signing out removes it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text, and each household's data is scoped to its own account on every single request. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach affecting you, we will tell you promptly.
Where your data lives
On servers in the United States. If you are in the UK, EU or elsewhere, using Huddle means your data is transferred and processed there.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account holders and update the date at the top.
